‘Cinema Donkey’ to screen at Nostalgia filmfest

Iranian feature film ‘Cinema Donkey’ is slated to vie at the Nostalgia International Film Festival (NFF) in Italy.

The film directed by Shahed Ahmadlou is a dark comedy that shows the untold truth behind connections in the world of filmmaking.

It narrates the story of a film crew who are working on a film project. They need a donkey for some of the scenes. Failing to find one, they settle for a donkey wandering in the woods.

According to the official website of the NFF, it is the first independent Iranian film festival in the north of Italy.

Lunched in 2019, it aims to display Iranian films in the European zone.

The 2021 edition of the event is slated for September 21-23.
